Our philosophies and processes
We believe it’s hard to make good decisions without having ample information, so we do our best to educate you on all aspects of your project. And we’re proud that we’ve received thanks from hundreds of customers for taking the time to explain as much as we could.
When we greet you, it might seem like another salesman approaching, but truly we’re just trying to help. Most of our customers do not have experience with large remodeling projects, while our experience is that mockup kitchens or bathrooms take up a lot of space, so we’ve focused on samples. But since it’s impossible to show everything due to size constraints, you might think we don’t offer a particular product, yet it’s behind a cabinet door or on display at our supplier’s showroom.
Next, we’ll visit your house to take measurements, then turn those into 3D renderings; we don’t charge for either of those. Maybe you’ll want to make a couple of changes, but once you’ve settled on a design, we can start to pull together an estimate. The more you’ve picked out at the store, the more accurate the estimate will be; otherwise, we’ll try to give you middle of the road prices, so you’ll have a fair idea where everything might total.
And then you actually might never hear from us again!
We’re just not hard salespeople. It’s our hope that you’ll decide you want to work with us, but it doesn’t always happen. Sometimes you’ll find a shade of white you like better, or a better timeline, or lower prices (call us, we’ll see what we can do) or who knows why?
All we ask is if you decide you want to work with a different contractor, we understand (our guys aren’t the least expensive), but consider asking your contractor to let you buy at our store. Many of them will shop at the Big Boxes, but they actually don’t care, while we’ll be able to help pull together products that are more reflective of you and aren’t just Package A, B or C.
